Weekly Log 2/16 - 2/22

Well it wasn't easy but somehow with trying to fight off the flu I was able to hit my goal for the week. The days that I was home sick all I could do was manage one run a day. Which afterwards would leave me completely wiped out on the couch for the rest of the afternoon. Wednesday I started to feel like my old self and tried to makeup for lost mileage. Running twice a day on Wednesday and Thursday got my weekly total up to 69.70 miles with one day left. So to this morning I jumped on the treadmill for a couple of hours and put in a solid not too fast 15 miles. Then tonight before work I jumped on the treadmill once more for an hour and 12 minutes logging 10.3 miles to finish with a nice even 95 miles for the week.
I really hated having to do most of my training this week on the treadmill but it did save my bacon as far as mileage went. Hopefully now that I'm rolling back around to day shift I'll be able to get out and enjoy the sweet muddy bliss of the trail. One more high mileage week to get through and then I'll start resting up for 3 Days.
